“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be
content with silence.” These words were spoken from the legendary Ansel Adams, arguably the most famous
photographer to have ever lived. I am not Ansel Adams, nor do I pretend to be. However, these words hold a
passion to photography that I personally relate to intensely. People walk about this world, but never truly
see the beauty and mystery that God has placed before us if we would simply stop and truly take the time to
see what others so easily ignore. As a photographer, I strive to capture a moment in time, a particular
spectrum of light, a reflection of reality that will open eyes to the existence of beauty we so often never
see.
My name is David Harding and I shoot in infrared to add a surreal affect to the vision and creativity of sight. My photography has shown me a new way to perceive and view the world as well as God and it is my heart’s desire to show this revelation to you through the artwork you now see. Take a moment, take a breath. Stop life and see what you have never seen. To contact me, please email: harding.photography@yahoo.com |
